The Dark Lantern, Aylesbury

This hidden away gem was a real live spot in the 70's The Nibblets had it then I presume retired now.
I would love to go back and see what is like now.

The Duke William, Metfield

This was great country pub when I lived near by.The hunt used to meet there.
A very friendly and attractive pub with good Adnams on hand pump.

Sir Alfred Munnings, Mendham

Never my favorite pub although it was walking distance to where I lived at Mendham Mill Cottage. Nice eating though, I see they have real ale now that would be an improvement.

The Cherry Tree, Harleston

This was certainly one of the best pubs in the area when I lived in Mendham, I returned about 10 years ago being in the UK for my fathers funeral and found Fank and Sue as welcoming as ever.
I dont know if frank is still the boss its been 30 years since I was a regular.
