Up until recently I'd never been in here, popped in over christmas to get away from the crowds & ended up there for the nite!!!
The food's cheap & better than the wetherspoons, & the drinks arent bad either!!!

I've heard good things about walkabout, but each time I turn up the queue is too big & I end up going to the bell accross the road!!!
Anyone know what time the queues start? might try & get there early one sat nite!!!!

The Bell is ok once and while, but I preferred it more when I was under age! I now realise its just full of kids who think its great to get so lagging they throw up & flood the toilets (not a pretty sight!!) then fight outside afterwards!! I swear I saw a girl of about 12yrs old last time I was there! Apparently wearing a tiny skirt makes the bouncers blind to the age limit!

Just read the message asking if the wetherspoons is gonna be turned into a club, is this true?? Forest Hill could do with some livening up!

Question is definately the best pub in Forest Hill. The food's great, basically the same price as the wetherspoons & it wont give you food poisoning!! Its 100% better than it used to be-The Malt was a dungeon!

This pub has got so much better since the management took over!!! Its got a friendly atmosphere & a great beer garden!! Yeh the drinks are a bit pricey but considering its the only place in forest hill where there isn't trouble every saturday night, u dont mind paying!!
