The Crown and Greyhound, Dulwich

Jolly good news about the basin worktop, one thing though, the worktop won't last. Chipboard must be sealed on all edges otherwise it becomes damp and swells leading to rapid deterioration, exactly what happened to the last one. Hmm. Any chance of some forced ventilation in the gents. While examing the worktop I was almost overcome.

Another thing, the latrines in here are not up to scratch. At weekends, awful, quite insufficient for the number of chaps. Basin unit has been collapsing for months, air quality terminal. If I see the Area Manager, he'll get a piece of my mind, pay enough for a beer, deserve decent conditions, what!

Thought I might join the debate. I don't think this one is going to just go away in a hurry what.Too many changes to this place recently if you ask me, some are good like the beer, but most like the furniture, the prices and the music are unnecessary, to say the least. You can't buy popularity you know, it's got to be earned. Some of the chaps in here have been regulars for years, since pre Barney days, a lot of them. They're jolly cross at the way things have gone. The village needs another pub, then we all could vote with our feet.Doubt if those fogeys up at the College would allow that. Makes you wonder Eh ?
