Went there a few weeks ago - food cheap but a bit burnt, and beer didn't seem too great.

The Running Mare, Cobham

Went there on Sunday - food was overpriced, and we waited 35 minutes for 2 salads (one duck, one cheese). For �10.95 I would've expected a bit more than a few leaves and some sliced duck/cheese. The addition of new potatos on the side felt a bit odd too.

Beer was fine.

5/10 overall, but was fine for just a drink. Would probably go to the Plough (either the one in Stoke or the one in Cobham/Downside) instead next time depending on whether I want.

The Royal Oak, Corsley

Went there for lunch today. Adult food and beer were good. Child's lasagne not up to the same standard - quite disappointing. Ordered coffees, which took 20 minutes to appear.

The Onslow Arms, West Clandon

Went in last weekend and bar staff were very pleasant, food was good. Will go back again.

The Jovial Sailor, Ripley

Went here last summer.. was quite nice but one other customer had some issues. They asked for tap water - barkeep said tap water was off due, yet they persisted. Unfortunately he didn't go find a tap, and they were pretty disappointed with the green water & stormed out.

My food and drink was fine however, so OK if you can survive the grumpy staff.
