The Black Horse, Naunton

We only popped in for an early evening pint so this review is only based on a quick visit. However the Donnington ales were both superb and the pub was absolutely heaving which is always a good sign and every table for food seem to be reserved. The staff were very efficient and the bar seemed to be full of locals which also bodes well.

The Green Dragon Inn, Cowley

Excellent pub with good beer and accommodation. We stayed the night and enjoyed a tasty and reasonably priced meal. The staff were very attentive and there is ample car parking. It is also about 200m from the nearby main road so is very quiet as well. Well worth seeking out.

The Seven Tuns, Chedworth

Very friendly staff and as good a pint of Butcombe bitter as you will find anywhere. The beer really was excellent. However when paying over 7 for a glass of wine and a pint it is a shame that the gents did not have soap or a towel.

The Rising Sun, Frampton Cotterell

I've never had a bad pint in here. The local GWB beer is very good and the bar staff are helpful and polite.

The Globe, Frampton Cotterell

Very friendly welcome from helpful staff. The beer is excellent with Fullers London Pride, Sharp's Doom bar and Uley Pigs Ear as regulars with one (usually strong) frequently rotating guest. The food is very good and the menu changes often. Well worth a visit.
