Usually, I am only there for the beer. The Ordinary is well kept and, in my opinion, is best with a tight screw (sparkler).

A real pub with real ale and real people. Also, the beer is well kept and completely recognisable.

The Andover Arms, Hammersmith
My first thoughts of the refurbishment are that the character and charm of the Andover has been removed. It reminds me of so many other gastro-clone pubs that are not so memorable after the novelty has worn off.
