The White Hart, Bicester

If you are ever unfortuinate enough to be in Bicester then please do not compound your misery by visiting this pub. It is truely awful.

The Original Plough, Chelmsford

A very decent pub. reasonable beer and interesting people. Worth a visit, you may like it.

Ivory Peg, Chelmsford

It does exactly what it says on the tin.

Globe, Chelmsford

Deeply unpleasant place. The social epicentre of this place is the pool table. If you are ever tempted to enter, wear a baseball cap, park your Citreon Saxo with a silly exhaust in the carpark and leave your brain in the boot.

Edwards, Chelmsford

Young and unpleasant.

The Ship, Chelmsford

Good pub. Sour faced manageress but good company and reasonable, though not great, beer. Certainly worth a visit in Chelmsford, you will return.

The Barnadiston Arms, Kedington

Possibly the poorest rural pub in England! Bad beer and even worse company. It is like drinking a pint in a special needs centre. Truely dreadful, best avoided even to the point of going without a beer on Boxing day.

The Red House, Longstowe

To be honest this is a nice pub for 1 or 2 beers, beyond that it is really not worth the visit. The service is dreadful, beyond the the natural adversion to the hairdresser type whine about thier problems being the customers' problems and the over priced and poor food.
On a good day however, this can be a pleasant experience for a beer in your own company.

The Live and Let Live, Cambridge

This is an excellent pub. It was my local for a long time and it is in my top 5 local pubs ever. A great mix of people use this pub; so some fantastic bar talk is always to be had. Good beer too, I have to admit I am not a big real ale man, the company made this place for me.
