Gorgeous pub.... shame about the lack of food! We went here on a Sunday hoping to have some lunch, only to be told all they could serve us was nuts or olives! They weren't even busy, and have a large area at the back specifically for dining.....why have a dedicated area and no food?! Great outdoor area for summer, they just need to sort out the food situation.

Tourist trap! Such a lovely looking place, that clearly survives on tourists. No-one with any sense would ever go back! We tried the pizza restaurant on level 1 and were very disspointed. The staff were rude and lazy, the place wasn't busy and there were 4 or 5 waiters but they moped around so slowly and left food sitting waiting to be served for so long that our pizza was cold. Would not return or recommend.

I agree with the other reviews - this place was gorgeous pre-refurb. The refurb has completely destroyed the old atmosphere. I dont know if they've had a change of chef also but the standard of the food is terrible for the price. The fish i had was tasteless and the vegetables raw! How hard is it to cook a vegetable! Such a waste! I hope they get their act together soon.
