My first visit in about six weeks and I was dissapointed there were no ales under 4.2% and three all 4.9% or over.I took a pint back which was hazy and tasted A little vinegary.I had two pints of Zulu that was very good.

The Claret Free House, Addiscombe
I havn't been to this pub for about a year and after a couple of visits this month I realise what I'v been missing, all the ales are clearly chalked up on a blackboard with the prices which are very good.I will definitely be visiting more often.

I'v paid a couple of visits recently and this pub is certainly my favorite at the moment.The Whitstable IPA is perfect.Theres a couple of dart boards and a pool table. Bob the govenor is a really nice bloke and the locals are friendly one saw me waiting at the bus stop and offered me a lift.I wish I lived nearer.

What a smashing pub perfect conditioned real ales and easy to get to from my home in Croydon.It will definitely be on my circuit

All I can say is well done to Bob and his team they certainly take pride in what they do.The bar is just oozing with hospitality.There is a great array of ales including Moorehouse Black Cat which is always on.There's a very neat and well kept garden with a huge covered area.

I had a nice pt of Rebellion IPA of which the very welcoming barman let me taste before paying he said that it was nearing the end of the barrel.It was fine.It would be great if there was another guest beer on.

This little gem of a bar has a real refreshing feel aout it.The Hop Head is perfect ,and always another Dark Star brew on.The staff make you feel very welcome plus low prices.

Oh dear Iv just learnt Bobs gone, this pub is right at the top of my list and Bob is such a friendly and knowledgeable guy. I Wish him well with whatever he takes on in the future. Lets hope the new manager keeps up the same high standard.
