The Bells, Staines

Nice pub in the more quieter part of Staines. Food is very good - especially the one form the non-classical pub food menu!
Good choice of beer and friendly staff.
Would reccomend anytime!

The Royal Standard, Wooburn Common

Very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and decently priced food. Wasn't too impressed by the choice of food but at least it was not the typical Waetherspoon type of menu.
Outdoor seating is pretty close to a fairly busy road but it's definitely worth paying a visit, especially if you want to sample the huge variety of ales this pub has to offer.
Overall rating 8/10 - some other pubs should look, listen and learn from it!

The Wheatsheaf, Ealing

The most impressive part of this pub is the sign "SMOKING ALLOED THROUGHOUT", which is obviously respected by anyonegoing to this pub. Apart the "smoky" flavour that your clothes will smell of for the following days this pub is by far one of the best in the Ealing area. I used to live just behind it, now that I don't live in Ealing anymore I just feel like home when I come to the Wheatsheaf. St. Patrick's Day there was great, eventhough it's not an Irish pub.

Red Lion, Langley

Great Pub, very decent food, friendly staff but lacks of that "something" to get into the top ranking. Would reccomend before 5 pm or after 9 pm.

The Haven, Ealing

Used to have a good Jazz band playing on Friday's. Food is average and sometimes it gets quite smokey as well as too loud. Nice little front terrace in summer. Reccomend to go at least once to make up your own idea!

The Front Room, Ealing

This pub (if it can be called so) has absolutely no flaire nor a specific characteristic which could lead in reccomending it to others. If you just check around the corner you'll find better and worse places...!

The Shanakee, Ealing

Not too bad, a bit too smokey tho...

All Bar One, Ealing

Too loud for its size. Drinks are ok, staff friendly. Prices aligned with all other bars in the area. Would tho recommend it in weekdays.

The Ealing Park Tavern, South Ealing

Good place, nice atmosphere, no loud music (you get out of if hearing properly). Food is very good, yho the choice is limited. The pub is not really a pub, but more a wine bar. This place loses marks on parking availability. Have a good insurance... Pity could have been a 8/10!

The Bulls Head, Chiswick

The Menu is the same since August 2004 but the food is nice. Some great dish-of-the-day and a quite good choice of wines, which doesn't give it that real pub-flaire. Youngsters at work are sometimes the most terrible staff but as no service charge is added to the bill everyone can take his own revenge...

The Wheatsheaf, Ealing

For sure one of the best "locals" around in Ealing. The food is though not that extraordinary but the service is excellent. Evene on Footie nights the people seem to respect whoever is guest in the house. If only there were more pubs like these...!
