Sorry your wrong Katileen I'm not the landlord of the and don't even work in the trade. I just know where to go for a great real ale that is looked after properly. Also he does a nice mulled wine and would highly recommend it now its getting to the season for it.

I have visited this fine pub on several occasions and found the food and service to be excellent (I THINK Kathleen HAD GONE TO A DIFFERENT PUB). A fine selection of Ales is always on tap, and I�ll have to agree with Lord Nelson that the landlord makes you feel welcome on every occasion

An outstanding pub in a perfect location with a excellant atmosphere. A great variety of beers and food was available.

Stumbled across this pub by chance, great selection of real ales that seem to be well looked after (more than you can say for some places), lovely views of the river and a friendly atmosphere. Landlord was an entertaining and welcoming character,would recommend this place for a quiet drink or a night out with friends
