Ship Centurion Arminius, Whitstable

Was in Whitstable for football yesterday and was recommended this pub. Knew nothing about it but was delighted to walk in to find a quirky, German, Laurel and Hardy themed place.

Real friendly, warm pub and the Mike Baldwin door in the gents made me laugh.

Was so nice to have a choice of quality German Bier.

If I ever find myself in Whitstable again, I will be in this place.

Geht's los Ship Centurion!

The Duke of Sussex, Waterloo

Just been here for lunch. Am never eating in this pub again. A heated up supermarket pizza is not my idea of a pub lunch. That said, it was properly cooked and served up with salad.

I will go to this pub again as food aside, I really liked it. The barman and lady doing the food were really friendly.

It's a proper boozer and that should be applauded given the area in which it is located.

The Dog and Duck, Soho

Have just been to this pub for a quiet lunchtime pint and read of the paper.
It may just have been bad luck but they had a delivery going on right in the middle of the bar.
The noise was awful. I should have just stayed in the office.
The rest of the pub was not all that and I won't be going there again.
