The Cricketers, Horsell

Totally loved this pub. Great carvery and nice outdoor area for kids to play. Really efficient staff too and very polite. Will go back for sure. Like to try pubs that are connected to see if standards go across the board, not sure if this is a one off but will def try any sister pubs if there are any.

Mayford Arms, Mayford

This used to be a nice pub but sadly it's gone right down the pan. It seems to have changed hands a few times and it's crying out for someone to put it on the right path...shame.

The Duke of Cambridge, Tilford

Was in the area so dropped in as I had heard it's had a refurb. Very nice decor & very busy with food. Nice to see a puppy in there! I like pubs which take dogs in :) They seemed to have a good outdoor area with a large kidsplay house/slide. Too cold for my daughter to play but good to know for next time. We only had a snack (chunky chips) but they were great :)

The Queens Head, East Clandon

Popped in here briefly on my day off. Had the Winter Veg soup which I have to say was really good. Chatty smily staff even though they seemed quite busy with food orders. It's what I would call a really tradtional village pub. Can't comment on beer I'm afraid as I don't drink it but I did get told that the pub was the closest to Surrey Hills Brewery and that the Shere Drop was good...I'll stick to wine :)

The Stag on the River, Eashing

What a refurb! I was very surprised how fantastic the place looked. My hubby and I dropped in on the way to Godalming as we heard it had been revamped. The place was immaculate and the food to die for! I hear they do accommodation now which is a great idea especially if you have a party there. We will go back there for sure.
