To be honest this is one of the best pubs in Hammersmith proper ( not including the rivieria).
Lovely cheap food, light and airy conservitary and then main room give it a beer garden feel.
Doesnt often get very busy with the exception of lunch time thursday and friday in general.
Get there and support this local before the developers get to it!

Good meeting spot. Good music. Good food and drink deals.
Very small bar for the size of the pub which means getting a drink after work can sometimes be impossible. Between 6-8 on a Thursday or Friday you do really need to buy two at a time....
Good toilet factilities, if that is your thing

Since its refurbishment it is a nice place to go. You have a pubby feel out the back with old pub tables and a carpeted floor, counches and polished tables at the front for the more chic clientele and an excellent back patio for Summer.
The function room up the top is excellent and offers a good space and its own bar.
The place doesnt have heaps of character but i think it does have a lot to offer its customers.
Staff are good

A good 'Spoons.
Cheap, well set out, plenty of seating. Sometimes takes far to long to get a drink and some of the staff are not that helpful.
But it terms of a 'spoons a good location, set up and range of drinks.

Gee this place has improved. Does anyone remember the blacked out windows.
Sensational little pub, cracking pub and highly recommended. friendly staff as well.
The only negitive is that the toilets are pretty average.
If you want to dine sit at the back or upstairs (where there is less atmosphere)

This place has now closed down to Three Days a week only. Its a shame its a great venue but shocking atmospehere. Like the unisex toilets - quite novel.
I walked past last night and it looks like someone has trashed it.
Is it still open at all?

Good Little place for a meal or lunch. Not sure about the atmosphere at night

The Old Fire Station, Hammersmith
Why do they refurb a place and then refurb it just months later....
Oh... The Island Bar set up. They are rubbish.
Has a lot of potential and am going to have a look at the refurbed refurb tonight.
Nice back area for a function, novelty toilets.
The atmosphere is always flat though.
Apparently a new lunch menu is good!
