The Drayton Court, West Ealing

Nice leafy beer garden with stuff for kids, impressive old building, but otherwise a pretty average pub. We go there a lot though as it's near our house & it's so big that you can nearly always find a table free to sit with your mates & chat the night away. Aparently it's open stupendously late sometimes now; some sort of disco-type-thing downstairs (or at least that's what my other half said when he staggered in at 3am the other Fri). Have eaten there a few times & enjoyed the food.

The Fox, Hanwell

Nice place for a family pint on a sunny afternoon, after a walk by the canal. Beer garden has greenery & flowers, plastic things for entertaining kiddies & usually some random dogs. Food is not bad, but sometimes erratic in turning up. Food not served all day- I nearly always forget this & end up eating many bags of crisps. Inside is quaint, small & cosy.

The Inn on the Green, Hanwell

Not bad. Usually a comfy seat free & you can avoid the sport on TV, if you want to (which I always do). Basic pub grub is OK, staff are pretty friendly, OK patio for the summer. Good for a quiet local pint.
