Was closed for a major refurb after being taken over by Craft Union, now reopened and still chav central, due to very low prices for the area. Under £4.00 a pint and double spirit measures from £3.50, also be advised when we visited yesterday two days after it opened the gents toilet's where backed up and overflowing.

Now reopening as a Sam Smiths faux gin palace,
, very similar to the Windsor Castle, except a lot busier when the theatre next door s open, haven't said that one few places you can find a Stingo on draught in London

Due to ongoing technical problems this pub is closed on 4/5/2015, and is unlikely to reopen in the foreseeable future.

The Duke of York, Victoria
Revisited yesterday still very busy due to the theatre and Victoria station, was surprised at the amount of beggers wandering in and out on the scrounge, got approached three times in less than 5 mins, even while standing at the bar, when I mentioned it to a member of staff I just got a blank look.
