Lovely pub! The garden is looking fabulous. The landlord is friendly and welcoming and so are the staff. The only downside is a few dogs running around in the outside area but I won't let it put me off when I'm in the area.

I have had some enjoyable evenings in here. Lovely garden which has recently been made even better, good food, clean tasting beer, some occasional live entertainment and a good quiz night. However, I have to agree with previous reviewers that some of the staff have been unwelcoming in the past. I shall definately be returning though as I think this place has alot going for it.

Having recently moved to Herne Hill The Florence has definately become one of my favourite pubs in the area. There is a nice outside space and the inside is always clean and tidy. The food and drinks are of good quality and for the most part the staff are very friendly. I agree with a previous comment that it can take a long time to get served when they are busy and could use some more staff behind the bar but all in all a great place to have nearby. Keep up the good work.

One of the best in the immediate area. Clean surroundings, decent booze and friendly service.

The Seven Stars, Chancery Lane
I agree with the last review. It smells of cats and I definately wouldn't want to order food. Nonetheless, the beer has always seemed quite good to me and the decor isn't bad.

Not a bad pub at all. Lovely outside area and has hoegaarden on draft. Good food too.

The Half Moon, Herne HIll
I like this place. The interior design in the front of the pub is lovely, a long bar, a cosy little snug, and I was pleased to see the torn upholstery had been replaced last time I went in. Great pizzas on offer, helpful staff and a great atmosphere. I also went to the open mike night one Tuesday and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
