be careful if you have the chicken kiev, I ate all my spuds and veg(which were nice) and a bit of the kiev but then noticed the chicken was still raw in middle. Told and showed waitress she just grunted sorry and that was it I had basically paid �8 for half a meal. First duff pub i've picked on this site.

Had a meal and a few pints here in july. Friendly staff,good ales and stowford press cider. The meals we're very tasty and enormous. Good idea to turn up early for meals as gets it's a small pub that can fill up quick.

The New Inn, Dowlish Wake
Whilst working down in the area, me and my 7 workmates came here for a meal. The food was excellent in taste, portion size and very nicely priced. Nice beer from the otter brewery and ciders from the cider farm in the village. What I especially liked was the fact it wasn't a snobby place, it is run by a very friendly and down to earth couple who made us feel very welcome.
