Surprisingly, Mambo's now offers cask ale on handpump, and is a pleasant enough spot for an afternoon drinkie, if somewhat gloomy inside. Evenings and nite time are much more, er, lively.

NRG is insane. Full of Partington scum coz they aint got any pubs in their ghetto anymore. Over 25 year old scum bags in Burton trousers and Base shoes. Classy.... its like a disco in Basra!

It wasn't a pot shot and I'm not some goon - it really is an amusingly troublesome pub. I guess the DJ (Mr/Miss NRG) could possibly be a little biased. Or maybe things have changed - I doubt it though.

Just call the local police and ask them where they break the most fights up in Urmston on a Friday/Saturday night.

Anyway, on your head be it. Or your bum, or your eye, or your leg, depending on where you land.

It's a potentially good laugh if you've drank enough aftershock and tropical reef though.

Ignore the ridiculous comment that has been posted previously, well rough hmmm somehow i dont think so, I actually play at the venue its a strictly over 25's only venue, no trainers, no jeans , no chavs.

Its packed every week with nice people hardly wild west no doubt some goon from JP's has decided to take a pot shot, If You want wild west go to JP's in Urmston
