please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

This pub has had a lot of changes in the past few years. It now has a nice relaxed atmosphere with a decent 2 meals for 8 menu. Drinks prices are good as they do a pint of Fosters for 2.20 and not seen any tramp and I am in there a lot lol!!! They have brought back live bands and still hold their karaoke/disco on a Thursday and Saturday and their quiz on Sunday

Pretty good pub this, decent beer at reasonable prices. Occasionally can be a little bit rough but it's still far and away the best pub in this area.

Decent pub, always got a decent crowd in and the drinks price are reasonable.

There can be trouble here though and there is a very persistent tramp who often hassles anybody who sits outside it for money.

Family friendly but some belligerent customers. Terrific forest setting, take a walk in Sankey Valley Park which runs right past the pub.
