DuncanDisorderly are you sure you were not trying to buy a beer of one of the many workmen they're after the pub shut haha. I spent quite a time before the pub was shut working behind the bar there.
And was responsible for the hearty portions that KilgorTrout mentions. Bless the oaps would be there in there droves at lunchtime as you'd be lucky to get Calvary anywhere else.
great atmosphere, and great spot. And it was run by the same person the 3 yrs I worked there.
if you recall it had a huge fire there and never opened again. Sadly the brewery had on plans to reopen after that... But hey with massive sum they pocketed through the sale of the gate they werent just laughing all the way to the bank they were doing cart wheels all the way there lol. :)

We have lost the mumbles train, we are now losing our pubs!!!!!!!!!!!!

Swansea City council have done more damage to our city, with the smoking ban than the Lufftwaffe ever did.

Sadly, this Pub has now closed down, and is being re-developed into retail units.......
