| Takes a while to get served at the bar. Visited at 1pm on Thursday 30th August with 4 friends from work. 4 of us had carvery and i ordered a sandwich. we paid for food and drink at the bar before sitting down. Its not very clear how the 'system' is meant to work. We did book a table in advance as it gets very busy. Its now called Golden Goose instead of Wild Goose.It has a child play area outside in garden and did seem to be geared towards encouraging children. The carvery itself had quite a good selection (either hot or cold). No cauliflower cheese on the day we went which was a bit disappointing.
