| Haven't they knocked this place down yet?? | This pub is now an Italian Restaurant, well pretending to be one, its not, what it really is, is BLOODY AWFUL. When there are 2 better restaurants in the village how or why someone decided to make this an italian as well is beyong me. Unless of course they felt it could match them for quality and service, which it doesn't... I went in on a Thursday night and we (my wife and I) were the only ones in all night. | Things must have changed a lot since the last reviewer: it is now (June 09) a sophisticated wine bar eaterie type place. After being in all of the pubs and bars in the Ewell village area (in 09), this is by far the smartest, even though prices are the same. It is a bar and Italian restaurant (not tried the food - but at lunch they do a reasonably priced 2 course menu option). By the bar there is a seating area to the left, for the drinkers with draft contintenal lagers on offer.
