| One of the most unwelcoming pubs I've ever been in, from the large aggressive dog that runs at you barking, to the barman who lacks basic manners "please and thank you" are not too much to ask when you as a customer are putting money into the till surely? to the rising damp on the walls and the toilets that look like they have not been cleaned in years with broken tiles on the walls to the bar staff who stand indoors smoking this pub has all the elements for a bad night out. | Very much a "locals" pub, and they seemed happy... ah bless. rather unwelcoming though for a non-local. they have what looked like some nice real ales, but they didn't taste like they should do. One doesn't expect great things of pub toilets, but wow, these are bad, if Thames water where to have a 'blow back' it may even do some improvements. flybee - 30 Nov 2011 23:35 |
