This is not a pub. Why is it here?

Food's perfectly good, but the staff are absolutely dreadful. In your face with too much volume, not particularly helpful and seem to think they're part of the package. The way they were carrying on it made the place feel like a speak-easy for northern idiots. Wind it in, lads, you're extremely unappealing.

You all may have gleaned this from the previous comments.

This is a small friendly RESTAURANT with Peroni on draft. If you are looking for a good evening meal with a few friends this is your place, but if you are looking for a good beer in the evening give it a miss.

Delightful local eaterie. Fab secret garden at rear.
We love the al fresco option when the weather permits!!
Food - good portions, tasty, well presented and unpretentious. Service warm and friendly. This is my 'home away from home'.

Getting better by the visit.

Friendly (now) and there seems to have been a sea change in attitude. Have had some bad experiences with staff there - one so bad said I'd never return.

But have. And pleased we did.

Food is spot on - and if you smile, they make an effort to accomodate you when you haven't booked.

Happy to recommend.

Rating 7/10 with lots of room for improvement.

Come on Annies - get with it and take heed of customer comments.
