Agreed the is a Members only CLUB not a pub.
A pub is a public house open to all.

Can't see the point of a public house which isn't open to passing trade. I live close by, but it's never had much to offer.

We live a few miles from this pub but have never been there as it advertises itself a as members only pub. Tonight we had to stop at the shops beside the pub and so we thought we would try the pub out. We couldn't get in, the main bar was empty and there were 3 customers in side bar playing pool. There were more staff than customers at 9.00pm on a Saturday night. Really comment on the actual inside of the pub as no one would let us in even though we waved through the window at the bored bar staff. I honestly do not think this pub is brimming with atmosphere.

Fairyairline, the pub has a great atmosphoere, I travel a few miles from home to drink there. I guess you must be worried about first impressions... Anyway, Karaoke is Friday nights and is a really good night. Saturdays, once a month is party night and we just had a Ska/two Tone bash that was excellent (last Sat). Yes, the footy crowd can make it a bit hostile at times but thats only because theres a great video system in there and people love to watch and shout! Its a members place but if you can get in with one then we'll be glad to see you there again :)

Really scary pub and walked out with out buying a drink. Advertised as a warm welcome in local press but we felt really intimidated in this pub.
