No review for nearly 3 years. Can't quite believe that nobody has said how great this place is! If you love your sports then this is the pub for you. I watched the Cheltenham Festival there and the atmosphere in the pub was second only to being at the race coarse itself. Giant plasma screens, very Reasonably priced drinks and great food. Seems to be loads going on at other times as well. The owner seems friendly and I may get to know him a little better as I will be back on a regular basis. Top marks!

Cracking place. Great staff, good beer, the best local in the world (I should know). No place like home and my home is nothing like this place thank god.

Very good pub, great atmosphere, great bar staff, great service. Real Irish atmosphere, not just a theme pub at all! Live music fantastic every weekend and the craic is always mighty! I have never found that the young customers are ever rude and of course drinks will be spilt but what can expect if you want to go to a busy pub! If you can't handle that then stay at home!! Never seen a fight break out in all my times visiting here unlike other pubs in the area!

I agree with redvarnish3 was a brill pub a couple of years ago, tried to get in there on St Patricks Night (no chance) but did go in there ,last new years eve and not a good as the year before, lots of KIDS which spolt it as we were looking over our shoulders waiting for a fight. There are a few stalls at the bar and nobody moves when you try and get away from (NEAR) the bar with your drinks and you always get someones drink spilt on you so dont wear anything that is dry clean only! I think if the manager gets the age of the customers checked out and gets the kids out and the oldd customers might be happy to come back .Dont forget a pub is only popular while it is fasionable to drink in by youR mates but the old regular is the loyal customer that will keep those till bells ringing.
