| Visited at end Oct 2011. Bombardier on tap which was excellent. Good landlord/ lady - interested in customers and chatty. Pub in good order. Food was terrific, plenty of choice too. We stayed a couple of nights and the room was very good. trevwoody - 25 Oct 2011 17:44 |

| Just spent 3 nights in Poachers Arms and had a fantastic time, new Landlord+Landlady wonderful. They had only been open 9 weeks since major re-fit, everything lovely now, roms, food din'nt venture in the mens loo but my son assures me its fine too. hope folk who had bad time may give it a try now, it's in a prime location for walking, would be a shame to be put off by previous experience.We will be going back.
