user reviews of the Roman Quay, Dover

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Agree with most of what is said, especially the regulars, one in particular who made no secret of suggesting where to get the nearest fix from!! Not very good for a family public house!!! Name either being Timmy/Jimmy??

What a Dive arrived early afternoon waited an age for a drink and was surronded by drunks who were still getting served!

Ok, ok so my best friend does work there and all my mates drink in there but it really is a place you should check out if you're ever in the neighbourhood. The beers not too pricey, the locals are friendly(ish) enough and there's a cracking juke box

Just off the High street, the Roman Quay is a friendly drinking hole, quiet during the day, but lively of an evening, with Fridays and Saturdays being the real party nights. There is a strong rugby theme due to the landlord (the always bubbly Gus) having close ties with two of the local teams.
