Quite right marinetank0. The Abbot Ale's the best pint ever and all the real ales are perfectly kept. You can't beat this pub if you appreciate beer!!

Felt out of place in here, didnt feel welcomed, took me ages to get served too, seemed i didnt exist, and trying to get a smile out of the landlord was unreal..very strange pub, seemed to be a bit of a, if your face fits pub..It was like being in a scene from waking the dead really... wouldnt go back and the toilet facilities werent that clean either... i wouldnt recommend this pub, i certainly wouldnt go in there again...

Nice pub serving local Tring beers, the Colley's Dog I had was lovely (though strong!). Great location with a large cow's field at the back but they didn't seem to be making the most of it as the marque they had up conceals the view which is a shame. Mind you, they have an interesting little aviary out the back which is unusual and nicely done.
