| Set in a little courtyard this pub (not really a winebar) is fantastic and I shouldn't even be telling anyone about it because I love the fact that it is quiet at times and the clientel are locals to Bowdon (very posh bit) and Altrincham (posh bit). The music is 'rat pack' Dean Martin et al. The beers are OK, but it is Sue - the owner, I think - it's like it's her home or something and everyones welcome. She's very polite and has a playboy bunny posed photo on the wall! It's a special place. Olde worlde and warm in the winter with the big fire place they have. Sometimes you get table service and sometimes you get to run up a tab. But it's always a treat to go to Jaspers. Mine's the round table by the fire!
