Popped in on a Sunday evening to listen to a few bars of Dizzy Gillespie but unfortunately there was no jazz because it was the Sunday between Christmas and New Year and they also had no real ales on tap so I had to do with a bottle. The pub though is a delight, two young “propa” Eastend barmaids and the usual mix of old time and new eastenders. A real gem and a pleasure to consume a pint in. wooser - 30 Dec 2024 09:01 |
there is a beer festival with up to 10 real ales going on the pumps over the course of the day on Sat July 25th. Greenie - 20 Jul 2015 20:15 |
I have been using this Pub for over 6 years and the beer , music and management has been consistently excellent - well done and the recent award is well deserved . gphillman - 24 Jan 2014 10:57 |
Just voted SPBW pub of the year. Great community pub with top class staff and beer. ed.spbw - 24 Oct 2013 19:34 |
Must be the best pub in E3. Frankie the most genial of mine hosts, great repartee from the regulars at the bar but all (decent) new faces made welcome. A genuine community pub with really well kept beers. ed.spbw - 26 Sep 2013 22:12 |
