Great pint of Heineken and good atmosphere. Would definitely call again.

As gazzo4u says, decent food - the steak & Guinness pie is to be recommended - but nothing really on the ale front. Smithwicks or Guinness are the closest you can get.

Food here is good and keenly priced so I visit here quite regularly. The surroundings are nice and the staff usually very helpful. Beer is the only problem as guiness red is the only drink here for me. A choice of some good British real ale would make this a regular place for me, but guiness and lager don't cut it!

The rump steak is excellent value at less that 7; and it is consistantly delicious prime Irish meat. Well cooked wedges, peas and field mushrooms.
As this is less than the price of a takeaway kebab or fish and chips, I eat here after work before commuting home usually before 5pm. On the two occasions that I visited later I felt that I was being watched with suspicion by some of the chavista locals - perhaps because I actually had the nerve to read a book in their pub. You would not want to eat with your family whilst listening to their loud banal utterances, littered with anglo-saxon expletives.

The beer? Well I only drink real ale so my choice was coffee as the only 'bitter' was John Smiths. Yuk! The coffee has been excellent every time.

If you must visit a pub in the centre of Harrow you could do worse. Much, much worse.

meh... never had a good pint in here have to be honest, Bar staff for the most part are usually young students, which I wont gripe about, but! this does ofcourse mean they couldn't give two about the place or the service they provide.
The toilets, well lets just say I wouldn't let my dog go in there.
Problem is its in a pretty good location, its a fair size and for the most part the people on a good night create a good atomsphere, its just incredibly let down by the fact its a massive chain pub and no-one working there seems to give a flying f@&k about it...
may have changed though not sure because I have stopped going there.
