I had dinner at cini last week with my girlfriend, although a shame that 77 closed down the food at cini is very good and modestly priced. We only intended to go there for a beer but stayed to eat and were pleasantly surprised. A number of people were eating there but there were also some of the old 77 regulars at the bar. Nice place, nice people, great food, excellent value. All round thumbs up.

Apparently re-opening shortly as a restaurant cum bar called Cini (modern european theme according to the notice on the door). Unclear whether it'll be mainly a restaurant, mainly a bar, or a combination of both yet.

Apparently this has closed due to Camden Council telling the owners they had to relocate the toilets from the first floor to the ground and remove the spiral staircase in the process. Health and safety blah blah. This was going to cost many thousands so the owners gave up on it. I wasn't a regular but it's still sad to see it go; there aren't a great many watering holes in Wampstead left that are worth going to...

Bit of a shame this. First went here about 15 years ago.You could always get a seat and very pleasant sitting outside in the summer. Bit of a sun trap. I stopped having food here a while back though. Matters weren't helped by the kitchen area being on a different lease. Becoming offices apparently. As you say, another one bites the dust.

This bar has now closed. Victim of a new landlord apparently, no doubt soon to be re-opened as an estate agents as West Hampy hasn't got enough of them already...

Shame. Was an esoteric place, and you could feel a bit out of it as very much a regular's bar, but interesting, good on rugby days, and reasonable food (though that did deteriorate a bit over time).

Use your local pub or bar, scary amount closing at the moment!
