I never stopped going in for a drink even when the pub fell from grace after Mr Ross left
It has certainly been on the up under the current management, decent home cooked food from a good, simple menu and well kept selection of beers.
Continues to cater for its regulars without excluding those who are visiting for the first time or returning after moving temporarily to the Trooper, Quarry or wherever
Well done whoever finally decided to give the place a bit of TLC

Re-opened and refurbished without losing its character. Serving food.
Much improved and heading back to its former glory; many of the locals returning along with new faces.
Finger's crossed it keeps the momentum up.

The Gardeners Arms is changing hands again, but this time with a promise of some money being spent on it.
Due to close for the whole of March, re-opening in April.

Fingers crossed, the new landlord/lady are locals and know the area and clientele.

Not the friendliest of places. The beer was average at best and they don't seem to like people they don't know. I won't be returning.
