Lennons is also owned by the psycho who runs The Dorchester over the road and consequently both will never get any more of my money. Ever.

If you want a lesson in how to appear a deranged nutjob, ask the landlady for a glass of water to go with your beer. She ended up screaming at me to F-off before one of her barmen followed me into the toilets and started on me.

Complete bunch of lunatics.

Used to be a reasonable pub called The Onslow. Now looks like a brothel.

This is a nightclub. That said, it has some fantastic live music. Local upcoming outfits as well as touring bands on the make. If you want a flavour of the sort of thing you'll see here go to longliverockandroll.com

It has a strong student following and as such drink specials abound.

Everyone seemed to be very very drunk when I went recently on a Saturday - to the extent of falling over on the 'dance' floor. It must be all that ROCK music! But on the whol ethis place is good; drink is reasonable and entry not too expensive.
