Recently refurbished and re-named The Victoria, handy if you're shopping. Ringwood/Marstons range.

Since my last review, there's been two changes of management.

After the 1st change of management, the pub took a bit of a nose dive. However, the 2nd change (current management) things have improved.

The menu has been overhaulled and generally the quality has improved greatly. The pub is also much busier than it used to be.

The only fly in the ointment is the price increases. 3.10 for a pint of stella is approaching London prices.

It's an ok pub for local people, they take their quiz night very seriously, so if it's a laugh you want your better off going else where, as they don't like to much noise. But any other night it's ok.

This pub has improved beyond belief, mainly due to the new landlord (Alex) and his wife. Reasonably priced food (large portions) and all the scum that used to go here have been barred. Plenty of seating and kids are allowed in with parent before 6pm as long as you are eating there (my kids love the VC house burgers). They also do curry nights, steak nights and some very good 'two meals for the price of one' deals.

Very popular quiz on Thursday evenings and live but somewhat 'cheesy' entertainment on Fridays/Saturdays.

Friendly bar staff.

This is a basic no frills pub, but it is safe (recent award proves this) and welcomming.
