| I haven't been in Ware for about 26 years. Was going to meet in the Station pub, only to find it is now a house. So, what was going to be our second port of call was our first. Cracking little old school friendly boozer. The AK was top drawer and the service good. They even laid on bar snacks, sandwiches etc for the Sunday crowd(haven't seen that in a good while)We were in Ware for the Spurs legends match at Ware FC we were so impressed with the pub that we stopped off again on our way back to the station after. | Nice little boozer near the Station. In here early last Saturday evening and a fair croud in. They have 2 TV's at each end of the pub one was showing footy and the other rugby. 2 hand pulls both for McMullens AK which was quite nice. bjbrummiejohn - 26 Nov 2014 12:48 |
| I visited this pub last August at 10pm on a Saturday evening. There was just a handful of customers, one of whom was a drunken middle-aged woman who swore loudly and regularly. Shame really, as it's not that bad a boozer, catering for locals. It's also very handy for the railway station. The McMullens AK was well kept and nicely chilled. Number11 - 4 Feb 2014 19:23 |
