Pretty much your bog standard refurb open plan pub with sky sports catering mainly for lager drinkers. They did have StAustell proper Job whcih I teid and found drinkable.

I also had a pint of real ale in this pub and it was disgusting.
However i did try a variety of drinks here and the Thatchers gold was good and they do have some very good offers on spirits here (£3.00 for a house double).
The pub is a typical Torquay pub with signs about drugs in the toliets.
It does have a sun trap beer garden and Babbacombe beach is just down the road.
All in all this was the best pub we went to all day and was far better than any we went to in st. Marychurch up the road.

Looking for a decent pint of real ale in Babbacombe, we found ourselves in the George Inn and wish we hadn't. Should have guessed from the red and white painted exterior and the promise of sky sports that we were in the wrong pub. All that was on offer was Otter and they had put it through the chiller, wrecking a perfectly good beer. Having forced half of it down, we gave in and left, noticing the stage with the silver floor to ceiling pole in the corner....interesting?
