| With time to kill before meeting friends in the Prince of Wales yesterday, I thought I'd give this place (Old Frizzle) a try. I'm not sure what market this business is after. But there weren't many people in. The front room appears to be mainly for diners. A room at the rear was a sports bar. Bar staff were a bit condescending. Maybe trendy young Wimbledon folk like being called pal. But it feels a bit too familiar to me. Wimbledon Tower Special Pale Ale was the solitary real ale. I opted for Stowford Press, which was at least 55p a pint cheaper than the Aspalls in the Prince of Wales. Not a place I'd head back to though. blue_scrumpy - 10 Apr 2017 19:28 |
