| In many ways this is more of a caf� than a pub, but you can go in and have a beer so it�s worth a review I guess. Even the bar area is reminiscent of a Starbucks rather than a pub with a selection of cakes and pastries displayed (e.g.; chocolate muffins at �2.50! You could get a whole meal in Wetherspoon�s for that). But of course it also has a selection of pumps on the bar, which is sadly lacking in a Starbucks. The pub�s fairly small, although with very high ceilings, and the dark red walls are covered in black and white prints and blackboards detailing all the food on offer. All the chunky wooden tables are suitably shabby and mismatched which seems to be the trend these days. It was very busy on a recent Monday night, and the harsh acoustics made the place quite noisy.
