| A week away (Tues, Wed & Thurs evenings) pub in the centre of the village where we were staying, hence the number of visits. However, the hotel (Ty Mawr) also needs inclusion). Timeless Robinsons pub by a bridge over the stream with a small stone floored (ex-public bar) where our dog was allowed in - a requirement of the week- much larger smart lounge and accommodation and fair sized garden with covered seating. | Excellent Robinsons pub, offering something to all types of customers. The younger village residents tend to meet in the small Settle (public) bar, named after a venerable piece of furniture, with its old stone-flagged floor and dartboard. Older customers seem to prefer the larger lounge bar which has been extended to form a dining area. Outside there is a large covered terrace (with heating and lighting) and a very pleasant beer garden and childrens play area for the odd day when it happens not to be raining in North Wales!
