| Large bar with plenty nooks and crannies to allow you steer clear of the other customers. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was ok as well. Four ales on when I visited yesterday. Deuchars, Abbot, Timothy Taylor Landlord and 1 other that I can't remember. Around £3 a pint. Some craft beers on sale as well. | Large roomed pub serving 2 ales (Deuchars IPA & Greene King Abbot) doing a fair bit of bar food. The Deuchars IPA was not the best and the barman was pushing the Abbot Ale. I didn't come from London to Scotland to drink Abbot! Not the best of Peebles real ale pubs but worth a look in. Food looked plentiful and staff friendly enough. tabbycat33 - 17 May 2011 19:30 |
