Beautiful building in the lovely hilltop district of Swindon. Thought the beer choice uninspiring like the ubiquitous Doom beer.

Nice looking pub that could probably do with a trim (you'll know when you get there). Huge inside and a nice place to meet people in Swindon.

Visited here a few times, usually with family to eat, Beer has improved, but oddities like the "party box" of Old Rosie on the bar getting hot are disappointments (esp. when I really felt like a decent pint of cider),

Still well worth a visit, and I've raised my rating...

I really like the atmosphere in here. Great age range, all kinds of people, relaxed, a really good place to visit especially at the weekend.

Unfortunately, the ales tasted like someone had kept them far too cold at some point, and killed the flavour. Also, prices in general were high compared to alternatives not too far away. I see a future for here filled with my daughters and their friends talking, over bottles of wine and a light meal.

A very pleasant place, but the beer...
