| This pub has had a complete refurb and I'm pretty sure it's come under new ownership. Visited last Sunday and my partner and I had the Sunday roast. Two meals and drinks for under �15 - can't go wrong. Good quality food and child friendly, welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. Clearly not the pub it used to be! | As you can see from the photo large modern pub. Lots of plasma screens showing the footy last Saturday when I visited. 4 hand pumps with 2 for Old Speceled Hen which had just gone (�2.65) so had to have a pint of the only other ale which was GK IPA which is not my favorite tipple but was OK and sold for �2.40 a pint bjbrummiejohn - 22 May 2012 08:05 |

| had a fab time - live music every friday and the odd karaoke night on saturdays... absolutley loved it. Landlord & Lady very welcoming even called me a cab when i was feeling abit worse for wear Will definatley dribk there again p.s now my local!!!! anonymous - 31 Aug 2007 12:42 |
