| Extremely friendly pub, I felt at home as soon as I walked in, and the same welcome was extended to everyone who came in, not sycophantic, just genuine interest in the customer. The interior is comfortable, the beer was very good (I had the Harveys Old Ale, a favourite). I wanted to try the Ruskin's Ram as well, and the barman let me have a sample first, which is always a sign of a good pub. I didn't eat there, but I understand the food is excellent, and I will definitely return for a meal.
