| No longer Bar Mondo, but the Tap @ Carters Well. With a name like that you would be expecting some kind of brewery tap perhaps, but no. 4 pumps at the bar, offering Tetley Cask, , Deuchars IPA, Pedigree, and Abolition by Sonnet 43. I went for the Abolition which set me back £2.50. Can't argue with the price, though it was served a little on the warm side. Nice enough but not enough to make me want to stay for another. Felt like a bit of a locals' pub to me, but is large enough that you can hide in a corner without feeling out of place. All the staff seemed young and slightly disinterested.
