please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

modern looking pub/grill just out of town on the "pride parkway".
inside, light in decor. felt nice & welcoming.
staff were very friendly & helpful.

as said, whilst there is a separate bar, this is not really a "pub" and is more for diners. that said, it met our needs perfectly, and the "early bird" menu, before 6:30pm, was good value.
plus free top-ups on soft drinks.
I had the chicken & rib combo at about 6 which, with the self-service salad buffet, was more than adequate.
***
verdict:
very satisfied with the food & service.
[remember this is a diner].
a 7 from me, basically on food quality, value & service.

Imaginatively named new build pub facing the Holiday Inn Express. It has a small bar area to the right as you enter and a large restaurant area to the left. No real ale on the bar and even the fizzy stuff isnt of the premium variety. Has a large outdoor seating area with outstanding views of the surrounding business park. I cant think of any reason why I would ever make the mistake of calling here again. It was very busy though at about 5 p.m. on a Friday, with quite a few office groups in along with a few families. It serves its purpose I suppose by keeping the people who dont like pubs away from all the great ones in Derby.
