| A large cream roughcast covered building just outside the railway station and a good walk from the village centre. Two signs outside, one says �under new management� the other says for sale. Possibly the former as the staff are very friendly and eager. Mediocre London Pride and Bombardier on hand pump backed up by a fairly standard range of kegs, including both Guinnesses, Fosters, Carlsberg, Stella and Strongbow. Traditional pub d�cor and furnishings, the seats being a bit tatty and there is a darts board and a telly. Loads of railway photos of course, and some sepia prints of the village in the olden days, oh and some nice fresh flowers. anonymous - 13 Jun 2009 15:38 |
