Fantastic food but the real ale on offer was a bit bland by hornbeam. I enquired if this a regular brewery on and was told yes. I feel this pub could be a lot better but the beer range is too safe and uninspiring.

Didn't particularly find this pub that inspiring. It did have 3 ales - Hornbeam Victorious & Champagne Ale & Cross Bay Sunset Blonde. But it appears to focus mainly on food. There were just one other group in and they were dining. It has a separate dining area. Other people were coming in to book their Christmas meals. Very depressing music being played. But handy for Guide Bridge station.

Have been calling into The Boundary since my last review (Jan 2013) for an occasional pint after work. The Hornbeam beers are always excellent and in great form - especially the Champagne ale. The staff are friendly and the pub looks great since the refurbishment. Well recommended!

as I have a friend who lives near this pub and use Guide Bridge train station regularly, this has become one of my favourite haunts. The beer (I usually drink the Champagne ale, but have had the Galaxy too) is always good and the quality never varies between visits. The food is good too, and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. I would recommend this pub to anybody either to pop in for a swift one (or probably more than one) or to eat a great meal. If you're a rocker, however, note that Smooth Radio is usually the order of the day music-wise!!

Eat at least once a week in the boundary with family and friends, recommend the gammon as its massive, also friends have had liver, chicken and fish all loved the food.
Staff really pleasant and always willing to help.
